Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program Art Contest

posted in: Fish | 0

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies have announced an art contest designed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program.

Through the years this program has provided grant funds to states for projects to restore, conserve, manage, and enhance wild birds and mammals and their habitats. Projects also include providing public use and access to wildlife resources, hunter education and development, and management of shooting ranges.

Submissions to the art contest must capture and illustrate the spirit of the Wildlife and Sport Restoration Program.

Artwork should highlight one or more land, and one or more water-dwelling species found in the United States.

The contest is open to the public. There is no submission fee.
